The snub of not being chosen for the NCAA Tournament is diminished by our winning the NIT and winning only our second basketball tournament ever. Sure, it might be the also ran tourney. Sure, it might not mean anything, and it's been years since the NIT was the big deal. But for PSU basketball, it's a big deal. And, it lets me taunt the many more numerous local Baylor fans, so it's all good.
